Shockless Electrode
The emitter points of a shock-less static eliminator receive high voltage indirectly. If someone touches the ionizing points, he will feel only a minor tingling sensation. The ionized field is most intensely closed to the emitter pins. The best distance for good static neutralization is between 10 mm to 20 mm.
The ELTECH - 305 Shockless Electrode Bar has the function of making a material adhere to a surface or two materials together. These charge bars are connected to a high voltage generator, which by generating the high voltage causes ions (positive or negative) to be created on the tips of the bar, thus the material passing between the bar and a mass reference is pushed towards the mass itself creating a temporary adhesion.
The ELTECH - 305 Shockless Electrode Bar find various industrial applications, they are safe as each tip is connected to the high voltage through a resistor so as to avoid sparks and accidental discharges and therefore damage to the machine itself.
The installation of these antistatic bars is very simple as the bars have a slot on the back where nylon screws are inserted in order to ensure insulation from conductive parts.
